GrAIdbooks is designed to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). When we process student data on behalf of educational institutions, we act as a "School Official" with a legitimate educational interest, as defined under FERPA.

4.1 Directory Information: We do not publish or disclose directory information about students without proper authorization.

4.2 Educational Records: Student data maintained in our Service constitutes educational records under FERPA. We maintain the confidentiality of these records and only disclose them as permitted by FERPA or with proper consent.

4.3 Parental Rights: Parents and eligible students have the right to access, review, and request corrections to student data. Educational institutions using our Service are responsible for handling such requests in accordance with FERPA.
